This year, I was inspired. My two very close friends got married. They were both extremely busy with life and work, and decided to ask me to help them coordinate their wedding. 

This experience taught me the ins-and-outs of planning a DIY style wedding. The couple wanted to keep the spend low, which meant doing as much as we (the bridal party) could ourselves. We managed to pull it off, and they had one of the most heartfelt evenings. A true celebration of love, surrounded by loved ones.  

As much as this experience showed me the benefits of spending time and effort planning, it more often revealed the pains of wedding planning. 

The idea was planted... 

After months of deliberating, I decided to pursue the project of building the ultimate, all-in-one, AI wedding planner.
